“19 years in Prison”

This episode of "Justice Unveiled" features SC4CJR executive board member and criminal justice reform advocate, Keith Smalls. Keith was sentenced to 19 years in prison for possession of 19 grams of cocaine in 2000. Within a year of release, his only son was shot and killed by a 15 year old. Knowing first-hand the ineffectiveness of the prison system, Keith asked the judge at the sentencing hearing not to send his son's killer to prison.
